At ASK4CARE SUPPORT SERVICES INC. our caregivers are carefully hand-picked through a stringent recruitment process that we have honed over the years; they are then put through several interviews, document verification, police checks, college and background checks and a thorough vetting process that completely ensures we get the right staff for the right client – every time.
We provide our cost-effective healthcare support services to all sectors of the community through supports of the following personnel:
Home Healthcare Aides:
Provide in-home assistance with light house-keeping and activities of daily living (ADLs); include but not limited to: laundry, cooking, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, taking out the garbage and other household chores. They are also known to provide companionship or chair-side assist for individuals that need to be constantly monitored.
Personal Support Workers:
Provide assistance and support to elderly OR special needs individuals that can no longer perform activities of daily living as they used to in the past and now need help/support in doing so. They can assist in a private home setting or then be part of a larger residential housing unit like a retirement home or a long term care residence. They can also be a good resource for Hospitals as relief staff as well as community housing for individuals with special needs like Group Homes and Community Living Organizations that provide housing to individuals with special needs.
Registered Practical Nurses:
Provide nursing, assessments, care plans and medication etc to individuals in hospitals, residences, assisted living, independent living and community group homes as well on a as needed basis.
Provide mainly administration and management of staff in a facility staffing environment including hospitals, long term care facilities, retirement living, hospices etc.
Provide assistance and support to individuals receiving treatment at an addiction centre – mainly targeted at adults/youth.
Provides assistance and support to individuals with behavioral issues. Assistance could be both to the individual themselves as well as to families of the individuals – Usually for individuals diagnosed with ADHD, ADD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Child and Youth workers:
Provide complex care support and programming to individuals in schools, shelters and group homes, community and mental health centers as well as correctional facilities.
Early Childhood Educators:
Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) work with children from infancy to age 12, including children with special needs. They plan and organize activities that help children develop intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally
Community Service/Development worker:
Provides support in the community to group homes, community living and related service agencies.
Social Services worker:
Community and Social Service Workers administer and implement a variety of social assistance programs and community services, and assist clients to deal with personal and social problems.
Crisis intervention worker:
Provide assessment and intervention to individuals with addiction, psychiatric, psycho-social problems etc in a community setting.
Developmental service worker:
Provides support to individuals with a physical or mental disability in a community setting like a group home or community living support.
Mental health worker:
Provides support to individuals with mental health issues including ABI (acquired brain injury) in a community or social setting.
Provides support to individuals in a community setting that are suffering from mild autism, behavioral issues, societal issues such as gambling, addictions, substance abuse etc.
Provide programming and on-going instructions to remain healthy and fit and specially to maintain strong bone health for the elderly usually through day programming initiatives.
Provide rehabilitation to individuals that have suffered physical trauma – programming and services provided in a community setting.
Provides clinical assessments, set goals and provide treatment plans for clients. provide on-going evaluations of client progress.
Medical records assistant/ Clinical administration assistant:
Organize and manage patients’ health information data, ensuring paperwork is properly filled out maintaining accuracy and accessibility of files. Ensure all files are secure. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals related to the practice.
Dental hygienists remove soft and hard deposits from teeth, teach patients how to practice good oral hygiene, and provide other preventive dental care; examine patients’ teeth and gums, recording the presence of diseases or abnormalities.
