We provide our cost-effective healthcare support services to all sectors of the community through the support of the following personnel:
Home Healthcare Aides:
Provide in-home assistance with minimal housekeeping and activities of daily living (ADLs), including but not limited to laundry, cooking, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, throwing garbage and other household chores. They are also well-trained to provide companionship or chair-side assistance for individuals who need to be constantly monitored.
Personal Support Workers:
Provide assistance and support to elderly or special people who are not able to perform activities of daily living as they used to in the past and now need help in doing these activities. They can assist in a private home setting or then be part of a larger residential housing unit like a retirement home or a long-term care residence. They can also be a good resource for hospitals as relief staff and community housing for individuals with special needs, such as Group Homes and Community Living Organizations that provide housing to individuals with special needs.
Registered Practical Nurses:
Provide nursing care, assessments, care plans and medication to individuals in hospitals, residences, assisted living, independent living and community group homes, as well as on an as-needed basis.
Registered Nurses:
Offer mainly administration and management of staff in a facility staffing environment, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, retirement living, hospices, etc.
Addictions workers:
Provides assistance and support to individuals receiving treatment at an addiction centre – mainly targeted at adults/youth.
Behavioural Aides:
Provides assistance and support to individuals with behavioural issues. Assistance could be provided both to the individuals themselves as well as to their families – Usually for individuals diagnosed with ADHD, ADD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Child and Youth Workers:
Give complex care support and programming to individuals in schools, shelters and group homes, community and mental health centers and correctional facilities.
Early Childhood Educators:
Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) work with children from infancy to age 12, including children with special needs. They plan and organize activities that help children develop intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.
Community Service/Development Workers:
Offer support in the community for group homes, community living and related service agencies.
Social Services Workers:
Community and Social Service Workers administer and implement a variety of social assistance programmes community services and assist clients in dealing with personal and social problems.
Crisis Intervention Workers:
Provide assessment and intervention to individuals with addiction, psychiatric, psycho-social problems, etc, in a community setting.
Developmental Service Workers:
Offer support to individuals with a physical or mental disability in a community setting like a group home or community living support.
Mental Health Workers:
Provides support to individuals with mental health issues, including ABI (acquired brain injury), in a community or social setting.
Rehabilitation Workers:
Provides support to individuals in a community setting who are suffering from mild autism, behavioural issues, and societal issues such as gambling, addictions or substance abuse.
Osteo-fitness Instructors:
Provide programming and ongoing instructions to remain healthy and fit, especially to maintain strong bone health for the elderly, usually through daytime programming initiatives.
Occupational Therapist:
Provide rehabilitation programming and services in a community setting to individuals who have suffered physical trauma.
Physio Therapist:
Provides clinical assessments, sets goals, and makes treatment plans for the clients, along with ongoing evaluations of the client’s progress.
Medical Records Assistant/ Clinical Administration Assistant:
Organize and manage patients’ health information data to ensure paperwork is properly filled out while maintaining the accuracy and accessibility of the files. Ensure all files are secure. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals related to the practice.
Dental Hygienist:
Dental hygienists remove soft and hard deposits from teeth, teach patients how to practice good oral hygiene, and provide other preventive dental care; examine patients’ teeth and gums, recording the presence of diseases or abnormalities.
